The next limb of Patanjalis Yoga Stura lies before us: Pratyahara – contemplation. A very important component off the mat, that we would like you to integrate and understand. Stress reduction: the core topic of all our AY Retreats is the impact of enduring stress on your body, mind and soul, but moreover, how you can make a lasting change through yoga practice, is our core topic. What else is there besides Asana (postures), Pranayama (breath), and Dhyana (Meditation) that lastingly reduces stress and bestows you with energy and deep relaxation at any given time?
ParaYoga Nidra® “PYN” in combination with Asana, Pranayama und Dhyana. For the time being AY is the only Yoga school in Switzerland that is allowed to teach the practices and philosophy of PYN – and we are very proud. We know the deep effects of PYN, for it has been part of our personal practice for more than a decade and you know we love to share the good!
In the previous AY Retreats the restorative practices have always been part of the program. Your feedbacks from May 2018 have clearly shown, what these practices can change just within a couple of days practice. During these days where you are secluded from your full schedule, you can relax systematically and regularly through ParaYoga Nidra®. Feel, sense and experience how your stress level reduces – besides various other qualities, which we will address in these days – and how you relax deeply and profoundly. Over Easter you will learn:
- What exactly is ParaYoga Nidra®?
- When and how do I use it?
- What is the difference between Yoga Nidra and ParaYoga Nidra®?
- How does my sleep affect my general health? What role does PYN play in this regard ?
Movement and breath in the form of the known “Morning Practice” at the AY Retreat will not be withheld from you. Through the daily ParaYoga Nidra® practice, joint exercises and meditations your body, mind and soul have time to digest all the new things. Gift yourself with energy, rejuvenation and time for yourself!

Get the complete AY program with the Early-Bird-Special of CHF 395.- until January 31, 2019. Thereafter the AY Program is CHF 495.- per person. With your payment to AyurvedaYoga your spot is confirmed. The account details are listed in the price tab as a pdf link. Reimbursements are possible until one month prior the retreat minus the administration fee of CHF 80. Thereafter reimbursements are only possible if your spot can be filled with a person on the waiting list. Contact Misty, if you would like to join, but can’t stay for the complete five days. Participant space is limited! Kindly bring your own yoga mat, bolster, strap and enough paper/pens to take notes. The lectures and practices are held in German (with translations). The PYN practices are held in English solely and will previously be explained in German.
